About Bake Culture

Located at 43-21 Hunter St, Long Island City, NY 11101, Bake Culture operates as an asian bakery serving Long Island City in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Long Island City. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in New York are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 12–8 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 878-0487. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is bakecultureusa.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 205 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian bakeries in Long Island City.

Great selection with so many breads and pastries to choose from! The Chinese-style bread is fresh, soft, and tastes authentic. Everything looked delicious, making it hard to pick just a few. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving quality Chinese bakery items.

Bake Culture is tucked away inside the Teazzi tea shop, making it a bit difficult to find. Strangely, they don't open until noon. The pastry selection was also quite limited, with only about 12 items on display during my visit. While everything was decent, nothing really stood out to justify the exceptionally high ratings. Overall, it was an okay experience, but it didn't quite live up to the hype.

Very cool place in Teazzi shop with place to shop for bao and pastries. Hope y’all enjoy it as I did for buns and cake! Also yolk floss balls look great !

Bake Culture LIC is such a gem in the neighborhood. The pastries are always fresh, soft, and not overly sweet, with a great variety of Asian and classic bakery options. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely one of my go-to bakeries in LIC!

I was so surprises to see this cozy bake shop inside of Teazzi! The selection is pretty good, and so are the prices for the items there. I definitely recommend the taro salted egg bun. The strongest point for this bakery is the minimal list of ingredients for items. Minimal fillers and minimal preservatives!!
